Many couples and families dream about getting married in the backyard they grew up in. Sara & Nate and their families were no exception, and Sara’s parents were over the moon to host their daughter’s picture perfect day overlooking the water they boat on. From Sara’s simply elegant look of flats paired with a floor length sheath dress with a fun neckline to the cross back chairs perfectly paired with the natural linen look - this was an event that made everyone feel at home with clean lines, great views, and just plain a lot of fun. Just like this couple and family!

The Family worked with Wedding Savvy with our Two Month & Day of Coordination package which afforded them the ability to call and e-mail with any questions they had during the planning process while ensuring all their details came together on the big day. Wedding Savvy Lead Planner, Nia Gray, served as their Day of Coordinator making their wishes come true! The ceremony overlooked the river and the wedding reception was in a tremendous tent set up by Loane Bros, right off of the sunroom of the residence.

Their wedding reception theme was chic rustic completed by the perfect flowers from Floret + Vine. Flowers were very important for Sara and so she hand picked Floret and Vine who fast became one of Wedding Savvy’s favorites! (Thanks, Sara!) The felling of togetherness was important for both Nate and Sara so they created a head table not only for themselves, but for their entire bridal party and their significant others. It made a great focal piece for the event!

Feeling right at home was another goal of Sara and Nate and that’s exactly what their guests felt with the help of the wedding professionals involved in the planning process.
